Olá, sou a Wendy. Sou co-proprietária e Diretora Pedagógica aqui na The English Academy (TEA), que fundámos no ano 2000, para o ensino de inglês.
Em 1996, terminei a universidade no Reino Unido com uma licenciatura em francês e espanhol. Então, vim morar para Portugal, fiz o curso CELTA, comecei a ensinar inglês como língua estrangeira e estou aqui desde então!
Agora tenho dupla nacionalidade, apesar de ser originalmente britânica (nasci no Norte da Inglaterra em Staffordshire).
Tenho um orgulho imenso na nossa escola e em como cresceu ao longo dos anos. Por isso, e pelo seu trabalho incansável e de excelência, estou incrivelmente grata à nossa equipa maravilhosa de professores e profissionais. Sempre adorei aprender outros idiomas, adoro ensinar inglês e ajudar os nossos alunos a alcançar seus objetivos!

Hi, I’m Wendy. I am the co-owner and Pedagogical Director here at The English Academy (TEA), which we started in 2000.
In 1996, I finished University in the UK with a degree in French and Spanish. I came to live in Portugal, did the CELTA course, started teaching English as a foreign language and I’ve been here ever since!
I’m British by birth but I have dual nationality. I’m originally from the North of England, Staffordshire. I am incredibly proud of how the school has grown over the years. For their incredible work ethics, skills and efforts I am very grateful to the wonderful teachers and professionals we have on our team. I’ve always loved languages and I love teaching English and helping our students to achieve their goals.
